A Desiccant For Insulated Glass BK1

BK1 is a new type of desiccant different from IG-3A in chemical composition and crystal structure. BK1 is made from kaolin, bentonite, attapulgite and active calciumcontaining compounds. BK1 desiccant has the same physical and adsorption properties as IG-3A. For use in insulated glass, BK1 are low dust, low air desorption, high temperature rise, etc. BK1 has proven to be a successful material for drying insulated glass since the year 2000.
